Delicious crispy puff pastry bites filled with fresh spinach and feta cheese, perfect for any gathering.
Ingredients

- 1 package of frozen puff pastry
- 200g fresh spinach
- 100g feta cheese
- 1 onion, chopped
- 2 cloves of garlic, minced
- 2 tbsp olive oil
- Salt and pepper to taste
- 1 egg (for brushing)
Instructions
- Preheat the oven to 200°C (392°F).
- Sauté the onion and garlic in a pan with olive oil for about 2-3 minutes until translucent.
- Add the washed spinach and sauté briefly until wilted. Remove from heat.
- Crumble the feta and mix it with the warm spinach, seasoning with salt and pepper.
- Roll out the puff pastry about 0.5 cm thick and cut into squares (approximately 10×10 cm).
- Place a generous spoonful of the spinach-feta mixture in the center of each square.
- Fold the edges carefully together and press them lightly with a fork to seal.
- Brush with beaten egg for a golden finish.
- Arrange the bites on a baking sheet and bake for about 15-20 minutes until golden brown.
- Serve warm and enjoy!
Notes
Make the filling a day ahead and store it in the fridge for enhanced flavor. Fill the pastry just before baking to maintain crispiness.
