Ingredients
Scale
- 3 ripe bananas
- 2 apples (such as Granny Smith or Honeycrisp)
- 200 g all-purpose flour
- 100 g sugar (brown sugar for added flavor)
- 2 eggs
- 1 tsp baking powder
- 1 tsp cinnamon
- A pinch of salt
Instructions
- Preheat your oven to 175°C and grease your loaf pan.
- Mash the ripe bananas in a mixing bowl until smooth, leaving some chunkiness if desired.
- Prepare the apples by peeling, coring, and finely chopping them.
- Add the mashed bananas, chopped apples, sugar, and eggs to a bowl and mix well.
- Gradually sift in the flour, baking powder, cinnamon, and salt, folding the mixture until just combined.
- Pour the batter into your prepared loaf pan and bake for 50-60 minutes or until a toothpick comes out clean.
- Remove the loaf from the oven and let it cool in the pan for 10 minutes before transferring to a wire rack to cool completely.
Notes
Enhance the flavor by letting the bread sit overnight. For a quicker option, use an air fryer set to 160°C for about 30-40 minutes.
