Description

Crispy and flavorful wild garlic patties that offer a delightful taste experience, perfect as an appetizer or main dish.


Ingredients

  • 200g Bärlauch (wild garlic), washed and chopped
  • 500g mealy potatoes, peeled and cubed
  • 100g flour (spelled or gluten-free)
  • 2 eggs
  • Salt and pepper to taste
  • Oil for frying

Instructions

  1. Prepare the wild garlic by washing it thoroughly and chopping finely.
  2. Boil the potatoes in salted water until soft, then drain.
  3. In a large bowl, mash the potatoes, then mix in the wild garlic, flour, eggs, salt, and pepper until well combined.
  4. Form small flat patties from the mixture.
  5. Heat oil in a non-stick pan over medium heat, fry the patties for 4-5 minutes on each side until golden brown and crispy.
  6. Serve warm with your favorite dip or enjoy straight from the pan.

Notes

For a healthier option, try baking the patties at 200°C until golden brown.
